Winning has become quite the habit for for Chelsea this season under new boss Enzo Maresca. The Blues keep up their 100% winning record in the Conference League, to match their impressive start to the 2024/25 Premier League campaign too.

The best football betting sites in the UK has the Blues as fairly heavy favourites pre-match, and it was clear to see why. Despite making 10 changes to their starting XI from their victory over Spurs last week, Chelsea looked highly impressive and remain on course for a successful Conference League campaign.

The visitors took the lead just before the 15 minute mark, with 18-year-old Marc Guiu breaking the deadlock in Kazakhstan. Just four minutes later the Spaniard has his second, doubling his tally for the evening to put the Blues 2-0 up inside the opening 18 minutes of the game.

At this stage, it was almost game over with Chelsea in full flow and looking like they already had the three points wrapped up. Enzo Maresca’s side added a third five minutes before the break, with Renato Veiga on target to score his second goal of the 2024/25 Conference League campaign.

The second half was a rather uneventful affair, with no goals and not a whole lot to write home about. The visitors went through the motions, making changes and controlling the game. Astana couldn’t grab a second goal, with Chelsea running out 3-1 winners in the freezing cold temperatures of Kazakhstan.
