Consistency has been key to sophomore Lavar Scott. 

The ARCA Menards Series points leader has yet to visit Victory Lane, but he posted five top-10 finishes in five starts. Four outings have resulted in top fives. 

Scott is slated to pilot the No. 6 Chevrolet during Friday’s Henry Ford Health 200 at Michigan International Speedway and likely will be challenged by Brenden Queen, who ed wins at Daytona and Kansas this season.  

Truck Series regular Gio Ruggiero will make his ARCA debut this season in the No. 18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. 

With the NASCAR National Series scheduled to compete in Mexico City after visiting Michigan’s Irish Hills, two drivers from Mexico, Eloy Falcon and Regina Sirvent, will compete Friday. Falcon earned a P3 at Rockingham Speedway in April and Sirvent will make her debut in the No. 68 Ford.
