The latest Adam Wharton transfer news has revealed that Real Madrid are keeping tabs on the Crystal Palace star.
Wharton has been hugely impressive for the Eagles since returning to first-team action in February. The 21-year-old missed 16 games in all competitions due to surgery on his groin.
Owing to his fine form on the pitch, Wharton is very much on course to be named in Thomas Tuchel’s maiden England squad later this month.

According to reports from Mail Sport, Real Madrid have sent scouts to check up on Adam Wharton’s progress. Los Blancos’ chief scout Juni Calafat is a keen irer of the Crystal Palace man.
Calafat has instructed his staff to provide a detailed analysis on Wharton as Madrid potentially plot a huge summer bid for the England midfielder.
Wharton cost Palace £22 million when he ed the club from Blackburn in February 2024. He penned a five-and-a-half-year deal so the South Londoners are under no pressure to sell.
It’s thought that an offer of approximately £70 million will likely tempt the Eagles into negotiations. Meaning the profit margin would be over two times what they paid for Wharton last year.
Madrid aren’t the only side rumoured to be interested in Wharton’s services. Both Manchester clubs and Premier League leaders Liverpool are also monitoring the 21-year-old.
However, a move to the Bernabeu alongside fellow Three Lions star Jude Bellingham would be hard to turn down. Especially with the plethora of world class talent in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
Palace will be bracing themselves for huge bids for several of their key players this summer. Eberechi Eze’s £68 million release clause is due to reactivate and Marc Guehi and Jean-Philippe Mateta are also being watched closely.
For now though, Wharton and co. will be aiming to help Oliver Glasner’s side reach their first FA Cup final since 2016. Sunday’s quarter-final draw paired Glasner’s men with Fulham.
