The Bahrain Grand Prix has delivered some thrilling races over the years. Ahead of the 2025 Bahrain GP, we have asked one of the most popular AI tools, DeepSeek, to predict the Formula 1 race’s top five finishers.

The 2025 Formula 1 season has gotten off to a flyer, giving us four winners in as many races — three Grands Prix and one Sprint. In Australia, McLaren’s Lando Norris emerged victorious, driving a perfect race and breaking Max Verstappen’s monopoly in the World Drivers’ Championship.

In China, Ferrari newcomer Lewis Hamilton made history, upsetting the odds and winning the Sprint race ahead of McLaren’s Oscar Piastri. However, at the Chinese Grand Prix, Piastri drove a perfect race and claimed the victory ahead of Norris.

Finally, at the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix, reigning champion Verstappen sensationally got the pole position ahead of Norris and Piastri. The Flying Dutchman was flawless in the race as well and comfortably got the win.

After claiming his first win of the 2025 Formula 1 season, reigning champion Verstappen has moved within a point of this year’s leader, Norris. The Englishman sits at the summit with 62 points while the Dutch driver is in second place with 61.

Considering how unpredictable the 2025 Formula 1 season has been, we decided to deploy AI to run simulations and predict the winner of the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Who Will Win the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix? DeepSeek AI Makes Bold Predictions 376s2r

DeepSeek sourced its data from the TensorFlow model trained on 2024-25 testing and race simulations. After running “50K simulations”, TensorFlow-backed DeepSeek gave Max Verstappen a whopping 62% chance of winning. Charles Leclerc, who has yet to match up to expectations this season, came second with 20%, while Lando Norris finished third with 14%. Haas’ Oliver Bearman made a surprise appearance, coming fourth with a 4% chance of winning.

Although DeepSeek AI gave Leclerc a 20% chance of winning the Bahrain Grand Prix, its race simulation told a different story. In its simulated Top 6 finish, DeepSeek AI backed Norris to beat Leclerc to second place. It also predicted Fernando Alonso would finish fourth and Bearman fifth, edging out Mercedes’ George Russell.

It also shared an interesting betting angle, advising against putting money on Lewis Hamilton. Bearman, meanwhile, emerged as a favourite to finish inside the points.
