The visitors took the lead half an hour into the game with a looping header from Dean Huijsen, who was able to nod home a Ryan Christie free kick for an early advantage.

After their first Bournemouth didn’t look back and they controlled the remainder of the game without much of a fight back from United.

Justin Kluivert weaved his way into the box on the hour mark and his darting run was too quick for Noussair Mazraoui, who took down the Dutchman a he cut inside to gave away a penalty.

Kluivert converted his spot kick to double Bournemouth’s lead and put them in a commanding position heading into the final 30 minutes.

Bournemouth well and truly killed the game with half an hour to go, as the Cherries cut through United with a beautiful ing move finished by Antoine Semenyo.

Semenyo’s goal was his first since the beginning of November and his finish against United was his fifth in the Premier League this year.

Alejandro Garnacho had a chance to cut the lead to two just after Bournemouth’s third, but the substitute was unable to convert the one on one and the score remained 3-0.

Despite making plenty of changes in the second half, the hosts were unable to score at home for just the third time this season.
