Watch the highlights as Bryan Mbeumo scores twice and assists once as Brentford beat Brighton 4–2 in a thrilling Premier League clash.

Brentford produced a dazzling second-half performance to beat Brighton 4–2 at the Gtech Community Stadium, with Bryan Mbeumo stealing the show with two goals and an assist.

A red card for Joao Pedro compounded Brighton’s woes in a match full of drama, goals, and high energy.

The Bees struck first, just nine minutes in. Keane Lewis-Potter surged from left-back with purpose, weaving his way forward before sliding in Mbeumo. The Cameroonian forward made no mistake, rifling into the bottom-left corner for his 17th Premier League goal of the season.

Brighton looked to be heading into the break behind until Danny Welbeck popped up with an equaliser in first-half stoppage time. Mats Wieffer curled in a cross from the right, and Welbeck, falling as he struck, flicked a clever header past Flekken to make it 1–1.

But Brentford responded almost instantly after the restart. A misplaced Brighton goal kick allowed the hosts to break, and after Wissa’s smart , Mbeumo fired in again—this time with a deflection off Dunk helping it past Verbruggen.

The third goal came just ten minutes later. Mbeumo turned provider, speeding down the right and squaring the ball across for Wissa, who slotted in to make it 3–1, with another slight touch from Dunk assisting the ball on its way.

Things got even worse for Brighton in the 61st minute when Joao Pedro was shown a straight red card for lashing out at Nathan Collins off the ball—leaving the visitors down to ten men.

Despite the setback, Brighton managed to pull one back in the 81st minute. Jack Hinshelwood found Kaoru Mitoma with a clever , and the Japanese winger finished coolly for his eighth of the season.

But any hope of a late comeback was dashed in stoppage time. Mathias Jensen delivered a pinpoint free-kick, and captain Christian Nørgaard rose to meet it with a thumping header to seal a well-earned 4–2 victory for the home side.
