Oleksandr Usyk Offers Daniel Dubois’ Team A Four Vs Four Street Fight As Tempers Flare Over Low Blow In Previous Bout 6n1v6h

Daniel Dubois and Oleksandr Usyk are set to fight for the undisputed world heavyweight championship in July, but tempers flared when Usyk recalled the low blow he suffered in the pair’s first fight.
With British fighter Oleksandr Usyk holds the WBA (Super), WBO and WBC belts.
The two have now agreed to fight for the undisputed world heavyweight championship on 19 July at Wembley Stadium.
Usyk, 38, made history when he beat Tyson Fury in May 2024, becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion in the four-belt era.
The Ukrainian then vacated the IBF belt ahead of his rematch with Fury in December.
This saw Dubois upgraded to IBF champion, successfully defending the title against fellow Brit Anthony Joshua in September.

But now Dubois is out for revenge, claiming he only lost his first bout against Usyk due to poor refereeing in the fight.
He said: “This is the fight I wanted and demanded and now I get my chance for revenge.
“I should have won the first fight and was denied by the judgement of the referee, so I will make no mistake this time around in front of my people at the national stadium in my home city.
“I am a superior and more dangerous fighter now and Usyk will find this out for himself.”
Usyk, meanwhile, thanked Dubois for ‘taking care’ of the IBF belt, but says he now wants it back.
“I’m grateful to God for the opportunity to once again fight for the undisputed championship,” said Usyk.
“Thank you, Daniel, for taking care of my IBF belt – now I want it back.”

The ‘judgement of the referee’ that Dubois mentions was the decision to give a devastating body shot from Dubois as a low blow.
Usyk dropped immediately to the floor after receiving the body shot from Duboi, but the referee judged it to have been low, meaning no knock-down was given.
Usyk was also allowed up to a full five minutes to recover from the blow, allowing him to gather his breath and reset.
Had the blow been viewed by the referee as legitimate, Dubois would have recorded a huge knock-down, and could well have gone on to win the fight.

Usyk and of Dubois’ entourage exchanged heated words when discussing the low blow from Dubois.
Dubois and his team argue that Usyk’s belt was too high, and the blow landed a legitimate knockdown.
Usyk, meanwhile, said the low blow call was fair, and offered Dubois’ team a four vs four street fight in central London after the heavyweight title bout in July.
