boxing. The Matchroom Boxing kingpin has had a successful career of his own as a promoter, as well as being involved in some of the biggest and best fights around the world.

Hearn has been involved in some of the biggest nights in British boxing history of late. This includes memorable nights with the likes of Carl Froch, Tony Bellew, Jack Catterall.

Despite not having a fighter in the main event of the Riyadh Season card on December 21st, Hearn does have plenty of his own fighters on the undercard. These include the likes of Johnny Fisher and Peter McGrail, both of whom feature on the Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury 2 undercard.

Queensberry Promotions man Frank Warren has even more fighters than Hearn on the Saudi card, including of course ‘The Gypsy King’ himself.

Ahead of the Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury rematch on December 21st, Eddie Hearn has itted that he has changed his mind on who he thinks wins the fight.

Not only has Hearn made a complete U-turn with his latest prediction of a Fury win, but he also thinks this could mean the opportunity of staging the ‘biggest fight even in the sport’ between Tyson Fury in 2025.

Speaking in a recent interview with iFLTV ahead of Usyk vs Fury 2, Eddie Hearn has itted that he can see Tyson Fury getting revenge against Oleksandr Usyk:

“If Fury wins – and I’m actually leaning towards him, I’ve had a little bit of a [switch] – Fury could fight AJ [Anthony Joshua] for the unified world heavyweight title.

“The biggest fight ever in the sport. Wembley, Riyadh, wherever,” Hearn said bullishly.

This marks a change of heart for the 45-year-old Matchroom Sport chairman, after he predicted an Oleksandr Usyk win just weeks ago in a different iFLTV interview.

“I have no idea how to beat [Usyk], but Tyson Fury is a very smart fighter. He has smart people in the corner, but also, from an IQ level in boxing, he’s right up there. Unfortunately, so is Oleksandr Usyk. So, my money, especially when he’s won the first fight, will always be on Oleksandr Usyk,” Hearn said.

His Excellency Turki Alalshikh will be hoping the rematch lives up to the hype and billing it has received, with boxing fans in for a treat just a few days before Christmas. Whether or not Eddie Hearn’s initial prediction of an Usyk win or new feeling that Fury wins will be correct remains to be seen.

Oleksandr Usyk goes into the rematch with Tyson Fury as the favourite with the best boxing betting sites in the UK. This comes as no surprise given the Ukrainian won the first fight.
