#7 Teddy Sheringham (Millwall, Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Portsmouth, West Ham United, Colchester United): 30 Goals 2e5c49

A pureblood legend of the beautiful game, Teddy Sheringham, kicks off the list, having scored 30 goals in 56 FA Cup games across seven British clubs. Sheringham, who played into his 40s, represented Millwall, Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Portsmouth, West Ham United, and Colchester United in the FA Cup.
Sheringham won the FA Cup just once in his career — in 1999 with Manchester United. He scored the opening goal in the 2-0 victory over Newcastle United in the Cup final.
#6 Archie Hunter (Aston Villa): 33 Goals 5k12c

The greatest Aston Villa player in the history of the FA Cup, Archie Hunter, scored 33 goals across 39 games in the competition. He scored in every round of the 1887 FA Cup, becoming the first player in history to do so. Hunter also scored the opening goal in the FA Cup final against West Bromwich Albion, helping the Villans claim a 2-0 win.
Hunter’s heroics saw him become the first Villa captain to win the prestigious FA Cup.
#5 Steve Bloomer (Derby County, Middlesbrough): 39 Goals 1g5xw

In fifth place, we have Steve Bloomer, who scored 39 goals in the FA Cup across Derby County and Middlesbrough. Bloomer, who scored 28 goals for England in only 23 games, was at the peak of his powers during his time with the Rams.
In his first spell, he scored 32 FA Cup goals in only 42 appearances. Following a five-season stint at Middlesbrough, during which he scored one goal in five games, Bloomer returned to Derby County. In his second stint, he scored six goals in eight matches.
Bloomer, unfortunately, could not win the FA Cup.

Between Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, and Barnet, Jimmy Greaves scored 42 goals in the FA Cup, emerging as one of the top goalscorers in the competition’s history. Greaves scored 3 goals in 7 games for Chelsea, 32 in 35 games for Spurs, and 7 in 11 games for Barnet. He also played for West Ham United in the FA Cup but could not score.
Greaves, who retired in 1980 at Woodford Town, won two FA Cups with Tottenham Hotspur.

A man of poise, finesse, and precision, Denis Law chipped in with 43 goals in the FA Cup for Huddersfield Town, Manchester City, and Manchester United. Law, who is best known for his heroics with Manchester United, played 63 games in the oldest cup competition in Europe.
Law famously scored six goals against Luton Town in the FA Cup at Kenilworth Road, but the match was abandoned in the 69th minute because of torrential rainfall. His six goals ultimately counted for nought. The game was replayed days later, and Luton prevailed, beating City 3-1. Law scored the only goal for City.
Law never won the FA Cup with Man City, but he snatched one with Manchester United in the 1962-63 season.

The iconic Ian Rush scored 44 goals in the FA Cup across Chester, Liverpool, and Newcastle United from 1979 to 1998. Rush played 75 games in the competition and also chipped in with 7 assists (as per Transfermarkt).
Rush scored 4 goals for Chester, 39 for Liverpool, and 1 for Newcastle United. He also represented Leeds United and Wrexham in the competition, but could not score for them.
Rush won the FA Cup three times in his career, with all of his successes coming with Liverpool (1986, 1989 and 1992).
#1 Harry Cursham (Notts County): 49 Goals 16io

Notts County icon Harry Cursham sits at the summit, having scored a whopping 49 goals in 44 FA Cup appearances between 1877 and 1891. He scored six goals for Notts County in their 11-1 win over Wednesbury Strollers in the 1881-82 FA Cup Second Round. The legendary Englishman played another blinder of a match against Basford Rovers, scoring four goals in a then-record 15-0 win in the First Round of the 1886-87 FA Cup.
Cursham played eight games for the England national team, scoring five times. Interestingly, Cursham was not just a professional footballer. He also made quite a name for himself playing cricket.
