Who could Kobbie Mainoo’s next club realistically be? The central midfielder rocked current employers Man United by reportedly declaring he aims to seek a move abroad.

As per The Guardian, a new Mainoo contract is on the table which is set to be turned down. It’s also suggested that the Red Devils will be aiming to part ways with their academy starlet for around £70 million.

United appear to be in a spot of financial bother so shifting Mainoo will ease some of that burden. It will also enable boss Ruben Amorim to bring in some new faces in the summer transfer window.

Although ers will be upset to see Mainoo leave, we’ve identified three European heavyweights who would make the perfect suitor for the England international.

Could Kobbie Mainoo’s Next Club Be Bayern Munich? 42y4r

With Kobbie Mainoo reportedly insisting he wants to move away from the Premier League, Bayern Munich will likely be alerted to his potential availability.

Vincent Kompany’s side could well be on the lookout for a new central midfielder. Joshua Kimmich looks set to leave the Allianz Arena in the summer.

The German’s contract expires in June and as of yet, he hasn’t declared that he’ll be staying in Munich. A move for Mainoo would make good sense from Kompany’s perspective if Kimmich does move on.

Bayern would have the funds available to sign Mainoo and seeing how the Bavarians play regular Champions League football and dominate domestically, it would be a great switch for the 19-year-old.

PSG Will Be Monitoring Kobbie Mainoo 2i593u

A move to PSG appears likely as the French giants are always on the lookout for the latest up-and-coming world class talents. And similar to Bayern, affording him would not be an issue.

Kobbie Mainoo is almost guaranteed to lift trophies on a regular basis at the Parc des Princes. The only one that continues to elude the Ligue 1 side is the UEFA Champions League.

Mainoo would also have the chance to play with star players such as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele, Achraf Hakimi and Bradley Barcola.

However, PSG tends to play a 4-3-3 formation so Mainoo may struggle to make the starting XI every week. Nonetheless, a move to to challenge himself in such a strong side should be one that excites Mainoo.

Kobbie Mainoo And Jude Bellingham At Real Madrid? 275o6s

Real Madrid are pretty well stacked in midfield but the chance to sign Kobbie Mainoo is hard to ignore. Especially as he could link up with England teammate Jude Bellingham.

The duo certainly know each other well from international football. Furthermore, Madrid legend Luka Modric is slowly winding down his career at the Bernabeu so Mainoo has the potential to thrive.

Even more so if current Los Blancos stars Aurélien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga were to move on. The midfielders are often linked with moves away from Spain.

Financially, Madrid wouldn’t have any issue affording Mainoo. Especially if they did sell Tchouameni and/or Camavinga.
