The fight that everyone wants to see in the UFC this year is Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall.

A UFC Heavyweight Title fight between Jones and Aspinall has been talked about for the best part of a year now, but still we are no closer to the pair actually fighting inside the UFC octagon.

UFC 309 last November, knocking UFC legend Stipe Miocic out in Round 3 of their UFC Heavyweight Title match-up.

UFC 304.

Talk of a Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall fight for the full UFC Heavyweight Title has been rife for months, particularly since Jones beat Miocic at the back end of last year. That being said, we are still no closer to the fight being officially announced.

The majority of UFC fans are growing frustrated that we might never get the Jones vs Aspinall clash. However, Dana White himself remains confident the fight will go ahead and is optimistic the pair finally face off inside the octagon this summer.

However, Aspinall himself is less bothered about the proposed fight now than ever. After months of the same questions about Jon Jones, Aspinall has now itted that he is ‘bored’ of any fight talk regarding Jon Jones.

In a recent interview with Jamal Niaz, the 31-year-old revealed that he is sick of the continuous Jon Jones fight talk. Aspinall shut down a question about the ‘Bones’ clash, insisting that he is done talking about it until the fight is officially announced:

“I’ve had enough talking about it. I’m honestly bored of it. We’ll see what happens. I’m ready to fight whenever they tell me. Just let me know, I’ll be there,” Aspinall concluded in blunt fashion.

This comes days after UFC President Dana White revealed in an interview after Tom Aspinall next, with White remaining very confident the fight happens this summer.

“Listen, Jon Jones definitely wants to fight. Just when and where is what we’re working on now. I’m very confident that fight happens (this summer),” White concluded.

It remains to be seen whether Jones vs Aspinall is made next, or whether both men will go in separate directions. MMA fans are desperate for this UFC Heavyweight Title fight so fingers crossed it is signed, sealed and officially announced imminently!
