Having won the first fight via split decision, it came as no surprise to see Oleksandr Usyk priced as the ever so slight favourite with the best boxing betting sites in the UK for the rematch. Since then, Usyk has of coursed earned roughly £112.5 million from the two Tyson Fury clashes. The rematch saw him earn £82.5m, which is by far and away his biggest career purse by some distance as of today.

For ‘The Gypsy King’, his biggest purse came in the first fight against his Ukrainian counterpart, despite losing the bout. Although Fury lost the contest, he reportedly took home around £85 million – £55m more than the actual winner of the fight in Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury comes out on top with a staggering £298.8 million earned in his last 10 fights. This is almost two times his Ukrainian counterpart, who has pocketed just shy of £160 million from his last 10 bouts.

First time around for their undisputed clash in May 2024, Fury took home the lion share of the purse. ‘The Gypsy King’ pocketed £85m for the first fight, with a further £67.5m coming his way in the rematch.

Oleksandr Usyk on the other hand earned just £30 million for the first first, despite defeating Fury. For the rematch though it was a different story. This time, the Ukrainian pocketed £82.5m in prize money, which was £15m more than Fury’s purse of £67.5m.

It’s worth mentioning that prior to their two fights, Tyson Fury had earned over three times that of Oleksandr Usyk. Even after their first fight Fury had earned well over double.
