Will Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua still happen after the latter’s surprise defeat to Daniel Dubois? The Gypsy King himself certainly has his doubts.
Fury looked visibly frustrated after Joshua was brutally knocked out by Dubois in front of 96,000 boxing fans at Wembley Stadium.
Furthermore, the 6’9″ British star also appeared to use a very choice word to describe Joshua. A ringside video recently emerged of Fury using the foul word.
He also said that AJ’s loss had cost him ‘£150 million.’ Naturally, this comment is in relation to the seemingly ever-lasting rumours that one day they will meet in the ring.

Talk of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua has stemmed for years. However, it has never really come close to fruition. A win for Joshua against Daniel Dubois would have made it a more realistic possibility.
Understandably, that is why Fury reacted with such venom. Although it can be taken as in jest and a light-hearted dig at his British rival.
Nonetheless, a mega-money super deal still seems way off but promoter Eddie Hearn believes it isn’t. The Matchroom CEO explained that it is still a viable option for 2025.
Before that, Hearn fully expects Joshua to reactivate his rematch clause against Dubois before making a final decision on a potential bout against Fury.
With that said, Fury still has his own rematch against Oleksandr Usyk to think about. In May, the Gypsy King suffered a devastating loss to the Ukrainian in Riyadh.
Until then, Fury and Joshua perhaps need to focus upon their rematches and approach their own future bout off the back of wins, not defeats.
Understandably, the sporting world would love to see Fury vs Joshua. But has too much time now ed? Either way, it would easily be the biggest fight in British boxing history.
