Gerwyn Price caused quite the stir with his new music in Newcastle, but what are all the walkout songs for the 2025 PDC Premier League roster?

The Welshman bowed out in the first round of Night eight in the PDC Premier League, as Price was beaten 6-2 by Rob Cross in Newcastle.

However, despite this disappointing result the main talking point came before a dart had even been thrown, as the Iceman introduced a new walkout song.

Traditionally, the 2021 World Champion walks out to Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice, given his name but he decided to walkout to a new song in Newcastle – Nice To Meet You by Miles Smith.

Whether this is a permanent change or not is yet to be seen, but darts fans were not too keen on the switch and voiced their disapproval on social media.

Another man that changed his tune for the night in Newcastle was local lad, Chris Dobey, who opted for ‘Local Hero’ which is played before Newcastle United’s matches at St James’ Park – but this was a one time thing as he was back in his home town.

With the number of new walkout songs shown on night eight, we decided to look into the song of choice for each member of the 2025 PDC Premier League roster.

PDC Premier League Walkout Songs 2025 193g59

Luke Littler: Greenlight by Pitbull

An already iconic walkout song is Greenlight by Pitbull, which has seen an increase in popularity due to Luke Littler’s consistent success in darts at just 18-years-old.

The teenager’s performances may play a slight part in the songs’ popularity amongst fans, as he is the current World Champion and sits top of the PDC Premier League after winning four of the opening eight nights.

Littler hit his 100th 180 of the Premier League campaign in Newcastle, doing so before any other player managed to hit 50.

Interestingly, the Nuke was only nine-years-old when his walkout song was released on in July 2016 and was not even born for a lot of his opponents songs.

Luke Humphries: I Predict a Riot by Kaiser Chiefs

Next we have Luke Humphries, who currently sits second in the PDC Premier League table after night eight and the World No.1 has an undisputed fan favourite walkout song with I Predict a Riot.

The former World Champion is a huge Leeds fan and the Championship side are synonymous with this song, typically playing the song after a win.

Humphries was actually invited to Elland Road after his World Championship victory in 2024, taking to the pitch to show off his trophy.

Gerwyn Price: Was: Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice / Now: Nice To Meet You by Miles Smith

As previosuly mentioned, Gerwyn Price’s decision to change his walkout music did not go down well with the majority of fans.

Darts enthusiasts have become accustom to the Welshman’s tune, Ice Ice Baby, as it links perfectly to his name and is an extremely famous anthem.

This change may have impacted the Iceman’s performance in Newcastle, as he put in his worst performance of the campaign and exited after the first round.

Michael van Gerwen: Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes

Walkout songs do not get more iconic than Michael van Gerwen’s, as fans love to in with the song and sing MVG’s name to the beat.

The three-time World Champion has been involved in the sport since 2007 (the year Luke Littler was born) and is a legendary figure in darts.

Chris Dobey: Let’s Get Ready to Rumble by PJ & Duncan / Local Hero by Dire Straits

Chris Dobey is clearly very proud of his Newcastle roots, as both of his song selections are linked with the city – as his traditional walkout song Let’s Get Ready to Rumble is by Geordie duo Ant and Dec.

His second choice is one that he brings out for tournaments in Newcastle, which is Local Hero, a song that is played before the Magpies’ home matches.

The PDC Premier League player enjoyed one of the most notable walkouts of the campaign so far and came close to beating Humphries in the opening match but costly errors saw him fall short.

Nathan Aspinall: Mr Brightside by The Killers

Nathan Aspinall has become a fan favourite with what many consider the best walkout song in darts, as ers continue to serenade the Asp with Mr Brightside by The Killers.

Alongside these incredible entrances, the Stockport-born darts star has started to pick up some real momentum with his performances – winning his first Euro Tour Title in on March 23rd.

Stephen Bunting: Titanium by David Guetta

Another player that has garnered huge attention from fans for his walkout song is Stephen Bunting, orchaestrating the crowd through Titanium by David Guetta.

Unfortunately for the Liverpudlian darts star, his performances have not been as impressive and Bunting has failed to win a single match from the opening eight nights of the Premier League.

Rob Cross: I Don’t Wanna Wait by David Guetta

Finally, we have Rob Cross who walks out to I Don’t Wanna Wait, which has provided some electric walkouts for Voltage – who continues to be a steady member of the PDC Premier League roster.
